英文摘要Recently, it has been observed that face-recognition performance can be noticeably enhanced through frontal face synthesis. In this letter, a deep disentangling Siamese network (DSN) is proposed for frontal face synthesis. More specifically, we cast frontal face synthesis as the encoder-disentangling-decoder process of profile faces, and a salient feature of our DSN is that a pair of images with arbitrary identities, poses, and illuminations is used as the input rather than a single image used in many existing works. The process consists of the following three stages:
