In order to satisfy to the real-time requirement of image interpretation system in photoelectric measurement equipments
a kind of hardware acceleration system with MIMD distributed multi-processor architecture based on SOPC technology is designed. The particle filter algorithm is proposed to process image interpretation for state estimation problem of nonlinear and non-Gaussian system. This algorithm does not involve conventional linearization transform
and has approximated the posterior probability density by a set of discrete particles. Therefore the approximate optimum result is educed. It has a high accuracy and a rapid convergence. Experimental results show that the algorithm be adequate to real time
accuracy and robustness

The non-uniformity phenomenon exists in each channel of multi-CCD imaging systems. The factors which lead to the problem are complex. The conventional calibrating algorithms can not consider all of these factors and have poor effects. According to the characters of multi-CCD imaging systems
a non-uniformity correction method based on the scene was proposed by adopting the traditional two-point correction theories. The correction coefficient of each channel image can be calculated via the linear relation between the two neighboring pixel lines in the two-channel images. Compared with the conventional two-point calibration and multi-point calibration methods
contrastive calibrating results were obtained. This method does not need any standard lighted image as reference source
which provides a real time way for calibrating the multi-CCD imaging systems in practical applications. 2010 IEEE.

Stable platform is a complicated nonlinear system. The common PID control can not meet the requirement of high precision and fast response. The adaptive inverse control was introduced in the system of stable platform. Based on it
the system utilize its character of open circle to improve system capability. In the model building to object model and object inverse model
the NARX network is used. The algorithm uses the least square method instead of least square(LMS) to identify the parameters and design the control. The simulation results show several advantages of this control strategy
such as sensitive response
non-overshoot
good anti-disturbance
and minimal stable error
and showed dynamic/static performance was superior to those of conventional PID method. 2008 IEEE.

High power vertical cavity surface emitting lasers with large aperture have been fabricated through improving passivation
lateral oxidation and heat dissipation techniques. Different from conventional three quantum well structure
a periodic gain active region with nine quantum wells was incorporated into the VCSEL structure
with which high efficiency and high power operation were expected. The nine quantum wells were divided into three groups with each of them located at the antinodes of the cavity to enhance the coupling between the optical field and the gain region. Large aperture and bottom-emitting configuration was used to improve the beam quality and the heat dissipation. A maximum output power of 1.4W was demonstrated at CW operation for a 400m-diameter device. The lasing wavelength shifted to 995.5nm with a FWHM of 2nm at a current of 4.8A due to the internal heating and the absence of active water cooling. A ring-shape farfield pattern was induced by the non-homogeneous lateral current distribution in large diameter device. The light intensity at the center of the ring increased with increasing current. A symmetric round light spot at the center and single transverse mode operation with a divergence angle of 16 were observed with current beyond 4.8A.

Microstructure fiber is a new kind of optical fiber. An arrangement of air holes running along the full length of the fiber provides the confinement and guidance of light. The light is confined in the silica core along the fiber axis. This fiber has endlessly single mode
special dispersion characteristics and so on. Using a vectorial effective-index numerical method
we investigated the dispersion characteristics of a microstructure fiber with honeycomb cladding structures. The dispersion
dispersion slope
and Kappa parameter can be designed neatly by changing the air hole size and the separation of the holes in fiber cladding. We demonstrated the Microstructure fiber with large absolute value of normal dispersion and negative dispersion slope at the wavelength of 1550nm. Conventional communication non-shifted single-mode fibers and nonzero-dispersion shifted fibers (NZ-DSF) can be compensated efficiently using the microstructure fiber at the wavelength around 1550nm.

In the latest 20 years
x-ray imaging technology has developed fast in order to meet the need of x-ray photo-etching
spatial exploration technology
high-energy physics
procedure diagnosis of inertial confinement fusion (ICF) et al. Since refractive index of materials in the x-ray region is lower than 1
and x-ray is strongly absorbed by materials
it is very difficult to image objects in the x-ray region. Conventional imaging methods are hardly suitable to x-ray range. In general
grazing reflective imaging and coding aperture imaging methods have been adopted more and more. In this paper
according to user's requirement
we have designed a non-coaxial grazing KBA microscope. The microscope consists of two sets of perpendicular spherical mirrors
each set includes two parallel mirrors. Taking it as an example
we have compiled an optical computing program for the non-coaxial grazing imaging systems so as to analyze and evaluate aberrations of KBA microscope. Thus it can help us to get an optimal comprehension of KBA x-ray imaging system. In the same time
the analytical results provide reliable foundation for evaluating imaging quality of KBA microscope.
