In the transportation monitor system  we set up the area of interest (AOI) of the vehicle model and adjust the size of AOI dynamically in order to track vehicle accurately. The results of experiment show that  motive vehicle detection by adopting digital image is one of key technologies. To detect motive vehicle accurately  the arithmetic proposed in the paper can suppress shadow availably  we establish an adaptive background updating model firstly. Noise is suppressed by using modality filter  detect motive vehicle accurately and satisfy real-time motive vehicle tracking. 2009 SPIE.  and we obtain binary image by using maximum entropy to choose dynamic adaptive threshold. Based on positive information of shadow and aspect feature of motive vehicle  we adopt HSV colour space and double threshold to solve the problem of vehicle shadow. This paper presents real-time MPEG-4 Simple Profile video compressing based on the DSP processor. The programming framework of video compressing is constructed using TMS320C6416 Microprocessor  the architecture level optimizations are used to improve software pipeline. The system used DSP/BIOS to realize multi-thread scheduling. The whole system realizes high speed transition of a great deal of data. Experimental results show the encoder can realize real-time encoding of 768*576  TDS510 simulator and PC. It uses embedded real-time operating system DSP/BIOS and the API functions to build periodic function  25 frame/s video images. 2009 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering.  tasks and interruptions etcs. A configurable  record capacity extensible and nonuniformity reducible of high speed camera is designed in this paper. The CMOS image sensor lupa-300 which is produced by Cypress Corporation is used for the system. There is nonuniformity existed in the sensor. The two point method of the image with real time correction algorithm has applied to process the image nonuniformity. Then the corrected image is storied into the NandFlash array. To improve the record speed and extend record capacity  the pipelining and parallel bus mechanism is adopted. The experiment which is based on hardware platform indicates the camera can take about 250f/s at a resolution of 640*480  the consistent storage speed is up to 614.4 Mb/s  consistent transmit from flash to Camera Link speed up to 1.093Gb/s.The system record time is up to 18.6 minutes. 2009 IEEE.

In order to meet special requests of optical imaging sensor in scene matching navigation system  a disc varifocal mechanism is proposed for the flight vehicles of long flying time and range. Within small space occupied  it can obtain real images with various resolutions. Moreover  using plate traveling-wave Ultrasonic Motor as its driven motor can reduce energy loss  improve control precision and ensure image obtaining being real-time and stable. Disc varifocal mechanism driven by plate traveling-wave Ultrasonic Motor is high-response  and variation in load doesn't affect its performance parameter. Therefore  applying disc varifocal mechanism in scene matching navigation system  combing software and hardware  can obviously improve the accuracy  real-time and robust of scene matching navigation system. The experiment showed that when the weight of mechanism was 1.5kg  the shortest starting was 0.6ms  and the shortest shutoff was 0.5ms. 2009 IEEE.

To solve the real-time and reliability problem of tracking servo-control system in optoelectronic theodolite  a multisensors parallel processing system was proposed. Misdistances of three different wavebands were imported into system  and then prediction was done in DSP1 to get the actual position information. Data fusion was accomplished in PPGA imported by multi channel buffer serial port. The compound position information was used to control the theodolite. The results were compared with external guide data in DSP2 to implement correction of above calculation  and then were imported to epistemic machine through PXI interface. The simulation experiment of each calculation unit showed that this system could solve the real-time problem of feature level data fusion. The simulation result showed that the system can satisfy the real-time requirement with 1.25ms in theodolite with three imaging systems  while sampling frequency of photoelectric encoder was 800 Hz. 2009 SPIE.

In order to make photoelectric encoder usable in a spaceflight camera which adopts CAN bus as the communication method  CAN bus interface of the photoelectric encoder is designed in this paper. CAN bus interface hardware circuit of photoelectric encoder consists of CAN bus controller SJA 1000  CAN bus transceiver TJA1050 and singlechip. CAN bus interface controlling software program is completed in C language. A ten-meter shield twisted pair line is used as the transmission medium in the spaceflight camera  and speed rate is 600kbps.The experiments show that: the photoelectric encoder with CAN bus interface which has the advantages of more reliability  real-time  transfer rate and transfer distance overcomes communication line's shortcomings of classical photoelectric encoder system. The system works well in automatic measuring and controlling system. 2009 SPIE.

In order to achieve the dynamical detection and real-time analysis of the movement status of the magnetic fluid  according to the difficulties of the detection of the magnetic fluid  established a high-speed acquisition and processing system of laser speckle signal on the magnetic fluid. First of all  the FPGA (EP2C8T144C8N) drived the linear array CCD(TCD1501D) to scan in the corresponding time sequence given by the computer  collected the laser speckle interferometric image in rapid change on the surface of the magnetic fluid  which followed the movement of the magnetic fluid  and the signal collected by CCD was converted into the digital data through the high-speed A/D convertor and stored into the internal buffer FIFO of the FPGA  whose width and depth were designed by the user as required. Then  the FPGA sent the digital signal of the laser speckle interferometric images into the computer through the USB2.0 highspeed differential bus  whose transmission rate can reach 480Mb/s in theory. Finally  the distribution of the laser speckle on the magnetic fluid was messy and random  which carried certain information about the surface of the magnetic fluid  based on the theories of the statistic correlation and the subdivision of images  analysing and processing the laser speckle interferometric images  indirectly got the movement status of the magnetic fluid under the electromagnetic field. The experimental results show that: the High Speed Acquisition and Processing System has the advantage of full-court  non-contact  non-invasive  high-precision and high reliability and so on. The detection resolution of high speed acquisition and processing system is superior to 1m and the sample rate is 3Msps  which basically meets the requirements of the magnetic fluid movement state detection. 2009 SPIE.
