在惯性约束核聚变(Inertial Confinement Fusion-ICF)研究中,主要诊断对象的特征是:空间尺度小(~100mm)、演化快(~100ps)、物理量值跨度大(~104)、状态极端(高温~108K,高密度~200g/cm3)、强干扰、单次实验。在这些特征条件下,要求同时对多个重要特征物理量进行多维度的高分辨时空关联诊断。条纹相机或者被直接用来测量超短脉冲辐射的强度-时间波形,或者作为高时间分辨的记录设备和其它仪器如显微镜、光谱仪构成联合诊断设备,提供超快空间-强度-时间分辨或能谱-强度-时间诊断参数。惯性约束核聚变辐射时间、空间和能谱组合测量,对超快诊断技术的时空分辨、动态范围、智能化以及远程控制能力提出了更高的要求。通过采用各向异性聚焦及电四极透镜技术,设计出物理弥散达到0.38ps,边缘空间分辨力达到56lp/mm的新型条纹变像管。通过采用模块化程控系统实现对条纹相机高压输出、环境监测、扫描档位切换和相机工作方式选择。利用Nd:YLF(脉冲宽度8ps、波长263nm)脉冲激光器对相机的性能指标进行了标定,测得静态和动态空间分辨力分别为35lp/mm和25lp/mm,动态范围达到950:1,时间分辨力达到8ps,在扫描和狭缝方向可实现独立变倍,和KB显微镜耦合,便于对目标的空间分辨率进行灵活配置。和传统的条纹变像管相比,各向异性聚焦条纹相机性能(空间分辨率、动态范围以及时间分辨)有较大的提高,但该款条纹变像管的极限性能指标还远远没有挖掘出来,还需要进一步提升标定平台建设,标定该条纹变像管的极限时间分辨能力,从设计结果看,该条纹管的极限时间分辨能力应该在1ps左右甚至更高,动态范围的进一步标定,需配置大动态CCD、低噪声像增强器以及采取光电阴极制冷等措施,根据国外相似条纹变像管的测试结果看,该条纹变像管的动态范围至少应该在3700:1以上。同时还可加强光电阴极研究,将各向异性聚焦条纹变像管的光谱响应从紫外、X光扩展到可见光甚至红外波段,并以该条纹管为核心器件,研制出工程化和商品化高性能的条纹相机。
 

英文摘要

In such research as ICF (Inertial Confinement Fusion), the main characteristics of the objects to diagnose are that: small space scale (~100 µm), fast evolution (~100 ps), wide span magnitude of physical quantity (~104), extremely arduous condition (high temperature~108 K, high density~200 g/cm3), strong jamming and nonrepeatability. Under these conditions, a number of important features of physical quantities must be multi-dimension high resolution space-time correlation diagnosed at the same time. The streak camera is now playing an important role in it, as a high time resolution recording device.The diagnostic equipment with performance of high temporal and spatial resolution, large dynamic range, intellectualization and remote control is greatly needed for ICF radiation test research. In this paper, the novel streak tube with both anisotropic focus electrodes and electric quadrupole lens is proposed, achieving physical temporal dispersion 0.38ps and edge spatial resolution 56lp/mm. A modular remote control system has been designed to control high voltage supply, environmental monitoring, deflection voltage switch and camera work mode. The Nd:YLF 8ps plused laser was used to calibrate the streak camera and the performance index are: the static and dynamic spatial resolution are 35lp/mm and 25lp/mm, respectively, the dynamic range is more than 950:1 and time resolution is 8ps. Furthermore, the magnifications in slit and scanning direction can be adjusted respectively, when it is coupled with KB microscope, which is very convenient to select amplification needed. Compared with the traditional streak tube, its performance(spatial resolution, dynamic range and time resolution) have been greatly improved. However, the limited performance index of this streak tube is far from being calibrated. It is necessary to improve the calibration platform construction further, and then to calibrate the limited time resolution of this streak tube. It can be seen from the experiment result that the time resolution of the streak tube should be about 1ps or even higher. What’s more, the further calibration of the dynamic range is required to configure large dynamic CCD, low noise image intensifier and the photocathode cooling. According to the test result of foreign similar streak tube, the dynamic range of this streak tube should be at least more than 3700:1. Meanwhile, strengthening research of the  photocathode, extending the spectral response range of the streak tube from the ultraviolet, X-ray to visible light and even infrared, and the streak tube can be used as the core device to develop the engineering and commercialized high performance streak camera.
