中文摘要Transverse spatial modulation of a low-intensity probe beam induced by a counterpropagating intense pump beam in a 45 degrees-cut BaTiO3:Ce crystal with an external electric field is experimentally studied. The results show that the input Gaussian probe beam is deeply modulated when the angles between the external field and the c-axis of the crystal are 45 degrees and 135 degrees. The experimental results are in good agreement with our numerical results.
