中文摘要 | The magnetic properties and magnetic-domain structures of nanocrystalline Sm2Fe14.5Cu0.5Ga2Cy (y = 0-2.0) and Sm2Fe15Ga2C1.0 alloys prepared directly by melt-spinning were studied and compared with the case of over-quenching and annealed ribbons. The coercivity reaches a maximum value at a wheel speed of upsilon(2) = 12.5-15 m s(-1) for Sm2Fe14.5Cu0.5Ga2Cy (y = 0-2.0), and 17.5 m s(-1) for Sm2Fe15Ga2C1.0. The coercivity increases significantly with increasing carbon content and reaches a maximum at y = 1.0-1.5. An increase in coercivity was also observed upon addition of a small amount of Cu. The maximum coercivity mu(0)H(c) at room temperature, obtained for the various ribbons at their optimal upsilon(s) value, is 2.2 T for Sm2Fe14.5Cu0.5Ga2C1.5 and Sm2Fe14.5Cu0.5Ga2C1.0, and 1.8 T for Sm2Fe15Ga2C1.0. The magnetic-domain structure was investigated by using magnetic force microscopy. Themagnetic-domain-length scale is 100-300 nm and 200-500 nm for Sm2Fe14.5Cu0.5Ga2C1.5 and Sm2Fe15Ga2C1.0 ribbons, respectively. Due to interactions between the grains, these values are larger than the grain size. In carbon-free Sm2Fe14.5Cu0.5Ga2 ribbons, the interaction strength between the magnetic tip and the sample is weaker than in Sm2Fe14.5Cu0.5Ga2C1.5 ribbons. The phenomenon of remanence enhancement was observed in all ribbons with carbon. |
