中文摘要A novel open-framework oxovanadium arsenate has been hydrothermally synthesized. It crystallizes in space group I(4) over bar 3m with cell parameters of a = 16.708(2) Angstrom, V = 4664.4(9) Angstrom(3) and Z = 4. Its structure is composed of a new type of decavandium cluster, which is constructed by two pentamers. Linking this decavanadate by AsO4 tetrahedral, a three-dimensional open-framework structure forms, which possesses large cavities. These high symmetric cavities interconnected through 12-membered ring windows forming a three-dimensional channel system. Catalytic measurements indicate that this compound is active for phenol hydroxylation using hydrogen peroxide as the oxidant. Catechol, hydroquinone and benzoquinone are the main products with 15.8% conversion of phenol (taking no account of the secondary product of tar) and 59.6% selectivity for hydroquinone, when the reaction was performed in water at 60degreesC for 6 h.
