| 英文摘要 | International Besearch and Training Centre on Erosion and Sedimentaton (IRTCES) is established by the Chinese Government under the auspices of, and with support from, UNESO. The main tasks set for the IRTCES are as follows. 1. Organizing international seminars, workshops, conferenees. The IRTCES is to act as the permanent seeretiat for the International Symposium on River Sedimentational and will, within its finaneial means, organize and sponesor some other symposia. 2. Organizing international training courses and advaced eourses on speeial subjects. 3. Promoting and coordinational resarch activities. 4. Publishing the "Internatinal Joural of Sediment Research" and other publieations. 5. Exchanging and collecting information in the field of erosion and sedimentation. In addition to the "International Journal of Sediment Research" the IRTCES will publish two kinds of publication: Monograph and Cireular. The monograph is an aeademic publication, reviewing special topics of erosion and sedimentation, The circular is publication to be more descriptive nature. It may present information about some major rivers of the world. It may aslo be a compilation of sediment data. It is hoped the such publication of IRTCES will be useful to all working in the field of erosion and sedimentation. Your suggestions of topics and contributions will be welcomed. |
