英文摘要This paper introduces a simple and cost-effective method to fabricate graphene, which was obtained from the reaction between metallic magnesium and low-pressure CO2 gas directly induced by high current operated at room temperature. The results indicate that the graphene has high purity, multilayer structure and moderate quality. The formation mechanism of multilayer graphene was discussed and the reaction zone strongly depends on the ignited wire length. © 2019 Elsevier B.V.
