英文摘要The bearings of traditional girder bridges are easy to sustain large residual displacement under earthquake ground motion.In order to solve this problem, the traditional bridge bearings is replaced by a self-centering unidirectional friction damper system, which is constituted of Teflon sliding bearings and self-centering unidirectional friction dampers installed between the girder and the cap beam.First, the self-centering unidirectional friction damper with pretension was equivalent to a system which is composed with an element without pretension and a bilinear spring element without energy dissipation capacity in parallel, then the constitutive relation of the damper was simulated via OpenSees.Furthermore, a 4-span continuous bridge with self-centering unidirectional friction damper was taken as case study, and the dynamic analysis and hybrid test were conducted to investigate the displacement and internal force responses of the bridge under earthquake.For hybrid test, the damper and the bearing on the No.1 pier were taken as the experimental substructure, and the other parts of the bridge were taken as the numerical substructure.Comparison between the numerical analysis and the hybrid test results shows that the equivalent simulation of the damper is reasonable, and the bridge with the self-centering unidirectional friction dampers has good seismic mitigation and self-centering capacity. © 2020, Editorial Office of China Civil Engineering Journal.
