英文摘要 | Cu(OH)(2) clusters were loaded onto the surface of rose flower-like Bi2WO6 hierarchical architectures with the aim of enhancing the photocatalytic activity. Moreover, the obtained Cu(OH)(2)@Bi2WO6 was heat-treated at 200 degrees C, during which time Cu(OH)(2) was decomposed into CuO particles onto the Bi2WO6 surface. The as-prepared samples were systematically characterized by means of SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, UV-vis DRS, EIS and photocurrent response. Compared to bare Bi2WO6, an enhanced separation efficiency of photogenerated electron-hole pairs was observed for both Cu(OH)(2)@Bi2WO6 and CuO@Bi2WO6. The photocatalytic activity of the composites was investigated by using RhB as the target organic pollutant of degradation under simulated sunlight irradiation. It was found that Cu(OH)(2)@Bi2WO6 and CuO@Bi2WO6 showed a photocatalytic activity about 1.9 and 1.6 times higher than that of bare Bi2WO6, respectively. The underlying photocatalytic mechanism was discussed. |
