英文摘要	On the basis of mathematical model for hobbing noncircular gear, the expression was proposed for the noncircular gear pitch deviation and pitch accumulated error caused by the workpiece rotary angle errors and the rack horizontal movement amount errors. By consideration of the above mentioned errors, a comprehensive method was given to calculate the noncircular gear pitch deviation, pitch accumulated error. The relation between noncircular gear pitch errors and the workpiece rotary angle errors as well as the rack horizontal movement amount errors were respectively analyzed. Taking elliptic gears as an example, the results show that the workpiece rotary angle errors and the rack horizontal movement amount errors have a great effect on the pitch deviation near the minimum curvature radius. The elliptic gear pitch accumulated error equals zero, and the contour line of the elliptic gear pitch curves can replace the pitch curves to measure noncircular gear tooth angle errors.
