英文摘要 | To understand the influence of bypass current on metal transfer in Dual-Bypass Gas Metal Arc Welding and the mechanism of metal transfer, this paper took the pictures of the process of metal transfer under different bypass current using the high speed camera and obtained the data of metal transfer by the image processing. When entering into the weld pool, the main forces acting on the droplet and the momentum of droplet were calculated by the data. The analysis showed that the electromagnetic force had the most important influence on the metal transfer of DB-GMAW. The bypass arcs induced the extension of the angle of arc root and the formation of droplet necking, which promoted the metal transfer process. And with the increase of bypass current, the influence would be stronger and the mode of metal transfer varied gradually from globular transfer to spray transfer. The momentum in the moment of the droplet contacting molten pool and the resultant force acting on droplet in the dropping process will decrease with the increase of bypass current. |
