英文摘要A set of hardware and software designing to solve the problems that existed in the design of embedded multimedia terminal, such as cost, performance and algorithms' upgrade is proposed. Based on the analysis of the processing capacity of hardware and the customization of software, the hierarchical design pattern is adopted to implement system functions in hierarchy, and also the P2P technology is introduced to reduce the payload of network and server when the multimedia data are directly transmitted among terminals. Meanwhile, the managing way of multimedia streaming data buffer, the regulation of multimedia data's download speed and the design of play process are discussed in detail. Finally, the feasibility of the design scheme is verified by the experiments. © right.
