英文摘要Since a residual oxide film is liable to occur at the frontier of acoustic-induced solder spreading on the surface of aluminum alloy, we conducted experiments combined with finite simulation analysis to investigate the formation and characteristics of the residual oxide film. Meanwhile, the elimination measures for the oxide residues were proposed. Results show that the acoustic pressure drops significantly at the solder spreading front due to the influence of the free liquid-gas surface, leading to the great depression of the acoustic cavitation effect and thus the residual oxide films cannot be removed at the wetting interface. Although the wetting parameters have been adjusted including ultrasonic time, input amplitude and solder composition, these oxide films still cannot be removed. They can be eliminated thoroughly, however, by constructing the surface of the base metal to avoid a free solder spreading front. The results are of great significance to improve the quality of the ultrasonic-assisted coating surface metallization and ultrasonic soldering.
