英文摘要The spin alignment of phi and K*(0) vector mesons is sensitive to different hadronization scenarios and the vorticity of the colliding system. We present STAR's measurement of global spin alignment of phi and K*(0) for Au + Au collisions at root S-NN = 7.7 (phi meson only), 11.5, 14.5 (K*(0) meson only) 19.6, 27, 39 and 200 (phi meson only) GeV. The alignment is quantified by the diagonal spin density matrix element, rho(00), with respect to the normal of the event plane. The rho(00) measurement based on the 1st- and 2nd-order event planes are presented. The results are shown as a function of transverse momentum, collision centrality and beam energy The implications of our results on the vorticity and the hadronization scenarios are discussed.
