英文摘要	PURPOSE:To allow the easy attachment and detachment of an optical connector and to obtain a stable connection position so that stable coupling with decreased changes is attained by cutting a part of the cylindrical part of a hole to be inserted with the ferrule part of the optical connector of a receptacle holder and inserting a split clip inscribing the outer periphery of the cylindrical part into the cut part. CONSTITUTION:The fitting diameter 6c of a ferrule holder 6 is equal to or slightly larger than the outside diameter of the ferrule of the connector and the cylindrical part 6b to be inserted with the ferrule is cut off partly down to the middle from the insertion part to be inserted with the ferrule in such a manner that a fitting wall 6a remains. the split clip 15 having a split groove is fitted onto the outer periphery of the ferrule holder 6a in such a manner that the split groove is positioned in the central part of the fitting groove. The clip is fixed by a stopper pin 16 so as not to shift at the time of attachment and detachment of the ferrule. The receptacle type optical semiconductor module of high reliability which allows the fixing of the front end of the ferrule to the cylindrical part to be inserted with the front end of the ferrule with good reproducibility is obtd. in this way.
