英文摘要 | Provided are: a wavelength conversion member which is inexpensive, relatively thin, small, and lightweight, and is capable of maintaining stable performance over a long period of time, while achieving high efficiency; and an image formation device in which said wavelength conversion member is used. In the wavelength conversion member, a phosphor layer (106d) is provided to at least one portion of a substrate (106a). A reflective part (106c) obtained by stacking a metal layer and a dielectric multilayer film is provided between the substrate and the phosphor layer. Light of a first wavelength from a light source and incident on the phosphor layer is converted into light of a second wavelength different to the first wavelength, and emitted either directly from the phosphor layer or after having been reflected by the reflective part. |
