英文摘要	A lipolysis radiation paddle 2 comprises a plurality of lipolysis radiation transducers 14 mounted in a base 20 having a lower portion 21 shaped to fit under the jaw 51 of a user, and a pair of side portions 26 extending upwardly from respective sides of the lower portion 21 and shaped to extend to and along the jawline 53. The front end 22 of the base is further shaped to receive the chin 52 of a user. The radiation transducers 14 are preferably provided as chains of laser diodes. They may however alternatively be provided as ultrasonic, radio-frequency (RF), infra-red (IR), visible light or ultra-violet (UV) transducers. A pair of rearwardly extending wings 34 may further extend from the rear end of both the base 20 and the side portions 21; the wings 34 being shaped to fit against the neck 55 of a user. The wings 34 may further be separated by a gap 32 positioned to accommodate the users Adams apple. A cooling fluid such as air may further be pumped through a network of vents (42, Fig 8) provided in the base 20. A control system may also be provided for controlling power to the transducers.
