| 英文摘要 | An electro-optical device comprises a lead frame (2, 321 ), a moulded body (10, 322) with a feature (1 1, 323) for location of an optical fibre for optical communication. The moulded body (10, 322) has a cavity (12, 324) which exposes a part of the lead frame (2, 321), and a diode (20, 327) is placed within the cavity with the benefit of the rim (1 1, 323) being a placement fiducial. There is a cured liquid filler over the diode in the cavity. The lead frame (2, 321 ) may be three- dimensional, with one level for placement of the diode (20) for optimum focusing of light into or from the diode, and a different level is for placement of electronic components. An electronic component (21, 326) may also be placed in the cavity (12, 224). The diode and/or an electronic component may be placed within the cavity directly on the exposed lead frame, directly on the moulded body with wire bonds to the lead frame, or on a conductive pad which has been applied to the cavity surface. |
