The device (1) comprises at least one light source (13), at least one heat sink (19, 20), a diffusor for the diffusion and homogenization of the light emitted from the light source (13) and comprises a thermal conduction device (22, 22’, 22’’). The light source (13) is constructed to be thermally coupled to a heat sink (19). The thermal conduction device (22, 22’, 22’’) is also constructed to be thermally coupled to a heat sink (20) so that heat generated by the light source (13) is transmitted to the thermal conduction device (22, 22’, 22’’) and from the thermal conduction device (22, 22’, 22’’) to the heat sink (20). The thermal conduction device (22, 22’, 22’’) is additionally constructed as a diffusor for the diffusion and homogenization of the light emitted from the light source (13). Fig. 4
