CONSTITUTION:Beams emitted from a semiconductor laser 1 are converted into collimated beams 3 by a first lens 2, passed through a glass plate 4, a vertical plane of which is inclined only by an angle theta1 and which has a wedge- shaped sectional shape, passed through an op tical isolator 9 composed of a polarizer 5, a Farady rotator 6, an analyzer 7 and a permanent magnet 8, condensed by a second lens 10 for condensing, and optically coupled with an optical fiber 1 Collimated beams 3 from the first lens 2 are refracted by the glass plate 4 and projected at an angle theta2 to the polarizer 5, the Faraday rotator 6 and the analyzer 7 at that time. Accordingly, return to the semiconductor laser 1 of reflected light generated on each plane of incidence can be prevented. A holding part 18 is slid to a hold ing part 16, the second lens 10 is positioned to collimated beams, and the holding part 18 is welded and fixed to the holding part 16.
