英文摘要	PURPOSE:To decrease components in number and a facilitate the alignment of the components with each other by a method wherein the components required to be strictly aligned are divided into to two groups housed in a first case and a second case respectively. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor laser 11, a first condensing means 13, a polarizer 15, a magneto-optical crystal 17, a photodetector 19, and a second condensing means 23 are arranged on a straight line in this sequence to constitute a semiconductor laser module 1 provided with an optical isolator. To add to them, a magnet 21 is attached to the outer periphery of the magneto-optical crystal 17, and these optical components are housed in a first case 29 and a second case 27 respectively to constitute the laser module Parts required to be strictly aligned with each other (between semiconductor laser 11 and first condensing means 13, between the second condensing means and optical fiber) are divided and finely adjusted independent of each other. By this setup, unnecessarily strict alignment can be dispensed with, a laser module of this design can be easily assembled and improved in coupling efficiency.
