中文摘要This paper presents a numerical simulation of supercavity induced by underwater high speed objects using smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH). SPH is a Lagrangian, meshfree particle method. It has special advantages in modeling free surfaces, moving interfaces and deformable boundaries. Based on Navier-Stokes equations of compressible fluids and a virtual single phase equation of state, it is feasible to apply the SPH method to bubble cavitation and super cavitations.
