中文摘要It has been proven that the quasiperiodicity and magnetic phase transition of a one-dimensional aperiodic system depend on the characteristic values of the corresponding substitution rule. By means of the principle of the argument we have developed a general method to study the properties of the characteristic equations of any substitutional sequences, which relates to the study of one-dimensional quasiperiodic lattices. Particularly, a class of typical sequences, which consist of k letters and is given by the substitution rule A1 --> A2, A2 --> A3,..., A(k-1) --> A(k), A(k) --> mA(k)nA1 (k = 2, 3, 4 ... and m, n = 1, 2, 3,...) are systematically studied.
