中文摘要The Na2O-rich portion of the ternary diagram Ln(2)O(3)-Na2O-B2O3 (Ln=Y, Gd) has been investigated. A ternary phase of composition Na(3)Ln(BO3)(2) has been found for Ln=Y, Gd. These compounds crystallize in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c. The structure has been determined for the compound Na3Y(BO3)(2) from powder X-ray diffraction. The structure can be described as being made up of isolated BO3 triangles held together by the yttrium and sodium ions. The yttrium atoms have seven-fold coordination in a covalent BO3 matrix. The sodium atoms have seven-, six- and four-fold coordination. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V All rights reserved.
