中文摘要随着互联网知识的普及和相关应用的不断深入,数据提供者希望海量的地理空间数据能够发挥更大的作用、创造更多的价值。因此,地理空间数据共享和互操作需求日益增加,势必要求可视化方法要和网络结合起来。网络可视化方法成为地理信息领域的研究热点。 网络可视化方法中目前主要采用的是三维图形模型---VRML、X3D和Java 3D。VRML模型方法存在与其他应用集成较难、稳定性与一致性较差等问题,是单用户、单处理器的标准,不利于实现地理空间信息共享和互操作。Java 3D是交互式三维图形应用编程接口,采用Java语言编码效率比较低。这给基于XML的网络三维图形规范X3D提供了契机。XML(XML是下一代互联网平台的载体)具有良好的数据描述方法、可扩展性、半结构化、跨平台的特征,使得X3D可以对复杂的地学信息加以规范化定义、描述和建模,并且在互联网上进行复杂的地理空间数据的传输及有效的访问。基于XML的X3D致力于建立一个三维图形统一交换格式,有利于地理空间数据的共享和互操作。同时X3D具有面向对象理论为基础的组件化思想和可扩展性,把X3D应用于地理空间数据可视化不仅可以统一地学三维图形的规范标准,而且能根据地学的特征对X3D节点进行扩展,利于和其他系统集成、提高组件的重用性和三维图形的交互性。 本文研究的主要内容是网络可视化方法及在地理信息领域的应用,探讨了国内外关于网络可视化方法的研究,使用三维图形规范标准X3D与三维地形的组织、调度、渲染的成熟方法结合起来,构建一套面向数据共享和互操作需求的、以描述复杂地理空间数据为目标的网络可视化方法,并在阿克苏和乌鲁木齐地区进行了实验,为进一步开展两个地区可持续发展研究提供了可视化基础。With the popularization of knowledge and related applications of the Internet, data providers hope that the massive geospatial data can play a greater role and create more value. Therefore, the growing demand of geospatial data sharing and interoperability must require 3D graphic descriptions in geospatial data fitting the network visualization. The network 3D model language is defined interoperability 3D graphic on the Internet. There are three 3D model picture language in the network visualization method---VRML、X3D and Java3D.It analyzes the modeling method of VRML(virtual Reality Modeling Language)and finds out there in it are not only problems of incompatibility, instability and inconsistency but also inconvenience in realizing information sharing and interoperability. Java3D is the interface of inter-operation of 3D application,using Java language which is very inefficiency.So the XML-based X3D of network 3D graphics standard appears in just time. Characters of good data-describing method, extensibility, semi-structure and cross-platform, etc. makes X3D (the carrier of next generation of Internet platform) standardizationally define, describe and model the complex geospatial information and effectively transmit and visit the Internet geospatial data. XML-based X3D centers on constructing a unified exchange format between 3D graphics and interoperable multimedia for geospatial data sharing and interoperability. In the meanwhile, due to its thought of components based on object-oriented theory and its extensibility, if used for geospatial data visualization, it can unify the standard of geological 3D graphics as well as extend the X3D nodes according to geological character to improve its integrated system, repetitive use of components and interoperability of 3D graphics. The main content of this paper is the network visualization method and this method applied to geographic information field, studying the network visualization both domestic and abroad. It analysis of 3D terrain modeling and network visualization modeling method, to construct a network 3D GIS visualizing method exemplified by terrain and based on 3D graphics standard X3D, with the orientation of data sharing and interoperability need and with the goal of describing the complex geographic space date. It experiments in Akesu and Wlmq in order to continuablely develop the two areas
