(EC+beta(+)) decay of Nd-130 and Tb-140

英文摘要Nd-130 and Tb-140 were produced by irradiation of R-96 and Cd-106 with Ar-36. The two nuclides were identified and studied by using a He-jet fast tape transport system in combination with X-gamma and gamma-gamma coincidence measurements. The half-life of Nd-130 was determined to be 13 +/- 3 s. The (EC+beta (+)) decay scheme of Nd-130 was propose for the first time, and the spins and parities of the ground state and observed low-lying states in the daughter nucleus Pr-130 were tentatively assigned. The previous (EC+beta (+)) decay scheme of Tb-140 was revised, and the spin and parity of its ground state were assigned to be 7(+).
