英文摘要 | High frequency surface wave radar (HFSWR) can continuously detect and track vessel targets over the horizon in real time. Compact HFSWR with a small aperture has the advantage of occupying smaller radar site, lower power consumption, easy deployment and maintenance. The detection technology of compact HFSWR is one of the development directions for HFSWR target monitoring. In this paper, we investigate the performance of target detection with compact HFSWR. The detection accuracies of azimuth, range and radial velocity with 3-channel compact HFSWR are analyzed and compared with those of the 8-channel radar system. Then the new idea of target tracking with compact HFSWR based on the integration of detection and tracking is presented, and the preliminary result of target tracking with compact HFSWR is given, and verified with the synchronous AIS data. © 2016 IEEE. |
