英文摘要	Five designed moorings were deployed and recovered on the western part of the southern Yellow Sea in 2006's summer which stayed more than one month. In this study, the distributed features of the tidal current are analyzed based on the moorings' data. Meanwhile, the vertical structure of the tidal current is explored emphatically. The thickness of the Ekman layer was also calculated. Analysis shows that the depth-dependent current contains multiple frequencies, mainly being the semidiurnal tidal current, quasi-diurnal tide, quasi-inertia and semilunar. The maximum mean kinetic energy of the depth-dependent current appears near the thermocline layer, and the mean eddy kinetic energy's values are higher in the upper of the thermocline layer's lower boundary with the maximum value occurring at each site near the thermocline layer's upper boundary.
