英文摘要We present a parallel inversion algorithm for 3D magnetotelluric sounding based on the previous preconditioned nonlinear conjugate gradient method with an improved preconditioning scheme, and we change the forward iteration limit. The efficiency and reliability of the code are verified using synthetic data generated from theoretical models and field data of the Chinese NIHE and Japan KAYABE data set. The algorithm requires less physical memory and CPU time than formal algorithms, so the codes can easily be run on one ordinary PC without the need for a server. And the inversion algorithm can deal with the data contained terrain information.
