英文摘要 | Apatite fission track (AFT) age constraints are important to understanding the Cenozoic growth of Tibet Plateau. Ten AFT ages of two granites from the northwestern margin of the Tibetan Plateau are analyzed in this paper. Five AFT ages from the granite on the hanging wall of Dahongliutan-guozhacuo fault inside the plateau are ranging from 24.8 +/- 4.9Ma to 14.0 +/- 1.3 Ma, except one age of 7.9 +/- 0.8Ma which is interpreted as a result of reheating of basalt eruption. Apatite samples from the granite on the hanging wall of west Kunlun middle thrust-fault in the steep slope belt give AFT ages ranging from 2.9 +/- 0.5Ma to 0.9 +/- 0.3 Ma. Thermal history modeling shows two stage uplifting and exhumation of the granite on the hanging wall of Dahongliutan-guozhacuo fault inside the plateau, the first stage occurs in Oligocene-Early Miocene(30 similar to 16Ma) and second one during Pliocene to Holocene (<= 5Ma). However, only one stage uplifting and exhumation since Late Miocene (<= 8Ma), which could be correlated to the second stage exhumation of the granite above, is deduced from thermal history modeling for the granite on the hanging wall of west Kunlun middle thrust-fault. The different thermal histories of these two granites imply the out sequence thrusting history of Dahongliutan-guozhacuo fault and west Kunlun middle thrust-faults. The first stage cooling could be result of the north dipping Dahongliutan-guozhacuo fault thrusting,. which is cut by the south dipping west Kunlun middle thrust-fault thrusting during second stage. The present steep slope belt of northwestern margin of the Tibetan Plateau, could be the result of the west Kunlun middle fault thrusting since Late Miocene (<= 8 Ma), which produced > 2000 similar to 3000m structural relief between the higher and lower plateau surfaces during Pliocene (about 5 similar to 2Ma). AFT thermochronology in this paper gives important age constraints on the formation of northwestern part of the Tibet Plateau since Late Miocene (<= 8Ma). |
