英文摘要 | This paper is the second part of our investigation on the origin of lift in viscous incom-pressible flow, which supports and exemplifles the general physical theory developed in Part I of this conference, by a Navier-Stokes simulation on a starting flow over a NACA-0012 airfoil at angle of attack α = 6 ° and final Reynolds number Re = 105. We employ both Eulerian and Lagrangian descriptions to clarify the detailed physical process by which the airfoil gains its circulation. In particular, we dig into the on-wall dynamic causal mecha-nisms to reveal the very physical root of lift. Besides, how the Kutta condition imposed to inviscid flow is realized in this viscous transient process is also examined. ? 2015, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc.; EI; 1-10 |
