英文摘要 | Anatomic abnormality is an important pathogenic factor of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. Airflow through the upper airway is a dynamic process involving fluid-structure interactions from a mechanical point of view. In this study, a general finite element model of the upper airway and surrounding tissues was transformed to a new configuration to simulate the results of maxillomandibular advancement surgery. The breathing process was simulated for both the general and transformed models by applying the same loading and boundary conditions.
