英文摘要 | In this article, a relation between the well known reflection coefficient and transmission coefficient of electron tunneling through a barrier and the amplitude of Fowler-Nordheim tunneling current oscillations is obtained based on the principle of quantum mechanics. A simple relation describing the amplitude of quantum oscillations how to change is obtained based on the reflection coefficient and the transmission coefficient. It is found that the simple relation agree well with the numerical result based on a numerical calculation. A linear relation between logarithm attenuation of amplitude of oscillations and variable parameters such as barrier height, oxide thickness and the kinetic energy of incident electron is observed. The results show that the attenuation of amplitude of oscillations can be accurately and simply described by this analytical solution. It is a further work of using interference method to study current oscillations. These results show again that interference method is a powerful tool to study Fowler-Nordheim tunneling current oscillations.; Engineering, Electrical & Electronic; Physics, Condensed Matter; CPCI-S(ISTP); 0 |
