英文摘要A new environmental chamber was developed for characterizing the emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from indoor materials. The chamber system consists of an outer chamber and an inner chamber, both made of stainless steel plates. A small fan situated on the top provides perfect air mixing in the outer chamber. Up to eight cold light lamps can be mounted to the up-layer of the shelf in the outer chamber to simulate indoor lighting conditions during the test. The inner chamber is a rectangular tunnel with a cone shaped section in the downstream. This plug-flow design makes it possible to directly calculate the VOCs emission rate from the concentration at the outlet of the inner chamber. When the inner chamber is removed, the outer chamber becomes a standard, well-mixed test chamber. This paper details the experimental design, discusses its pros and cons.; http://gateway.webofknowledge.com/gateway/Gateway.cgi?GWVersion=2&SrcApp=PARTNER_APP&SrcAuth=LinksAMR&KeyUT=WOS:000233831203055&DestLinkType=FullRecord&DestApp=ALL_WOS&UsrCustomerID=8e1609b174ce4e31116a60747a720701 ; Construction & Building Technology; Engineering, Environmental; Public, Environmental & Occupational Health; CPCI-S(ISTP); 1
