英文摘要 | The growth and coverage condition of vegetation is one sensitive indicator to evaluate the climate condition. Remote sensing has become the effective way to monitor these changes of plants. As the special of red and near-infrared bands for plants, the two bands are always used to monitoring the condition of vegetation. However, low temporal resolution and low spatial resolution images do not meet the rising practical demand. So this paper aims at proposing a method to simulate high temporal resolution and fine spatial resolution images of red and near-infrared bands using MODIS and Landsat 8 data. The simulation process of this method mainly applies the principle of semi-empirical linear kernel-driven model. Firstly, linear regression models between the normalized differential vegetation index (NDVI) and three kernel weights which respectively represent the coefficients of isotropic, geo-optical, and volume-scattering kernel in the kernel-driven model was established. The correlation is good, between 0.59 and 0.92 when the values of NDVI is between 0.45 and 0.85. Secondly, the image of Landsat 8 NDVI product was resampled into desired spatial resolution in the study region, such as 50-meter spatial resolution. Then we got the three kernel weights of each pixel by putting the values of NDVI into linear regression models established above. Thirdly, the simulated images were obtained after putting the dataset of the three kernel weights, different solar zenith angle, different view zenith angle and relative azimuth angle into MODIS kernel-driven model.
