英文摘要	In order to study the sedimentary facies types of the upper Es4 to lower Es3 member of Paleogene in Chexi Sag, Jiyang Depression, and their distribution characters on plane systematically, geological, logging and seismic data were analyzed synthetically. 7 kinds of sedimentary facies were identified originally there, which were nearshore subaqueous fan, sublacustrine fan, fan delta, delta, carbonate bank, shore-shallow lake and half-deep to deep lake intrafacies. According to the distribution of sedimentary facies, multistage near-shore subaqueous fan was developed from bottom to top in the actic region of northern Chexi Sag because of the impact from the persistent activity of Chengnan Fault. Multi-periods fans overlaid vertically, and they were distributed in apron shape along the thrown side of Chengnan Fault laterally. The sub-lacustrine fan, whose provenance came from the northern area, was developed in the sag region. Delta, whose provenance was derived from the Yihezhuang Uplift and Wudi Uplift, was developed in the southern gentle slope zone.
