英文摘要	Cancer metastasis is the end product of cancer evolution, contributing to the massive mortality of cancer patients (Chaffer and Weinberg, 2011). Different primary cancers have distinct spreading routes via the blood or the lymphatics or through both routes, which presents challenge for effective cancer treatment (Qian et al., 2017). Those organ-specific metastatic processes are all complex multistep dynamic processes, comprising genetic and epigenetic changes (Nguyen et al., 2009). Although thousands of small-scale studies have identified many new susceptibilities, the comprehensive illustration of molecular players during the metastasis cascade remains enigmatic. Recently, 150 pro-metastatic genes with in vivo evidence were collected by literature search and survival analysis (Mei et al., 2017). We also curated 194 experimentally verified metastasis suppressors from literature (Zhao et al., 2015). However, metastasis suppressors are only partial genes involved in the metastasis suppressing.
