英文摘要Indium tin oxide (ito) electrodes modified chemically with self-assembled monolayers (sams) of c-60-perylenetetracarboxylic diimide-c-60 triad have been designed for the first time to act as an efficient light-to-current converter in molecular devices. the monolayers were characterized using uv-vis, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy. photoelectrochemical measurement of the sams of c-60-perylenetetracarboxylic diimide-c-60/ito indicated prompt, steady, and reproducible photocurrent generation when irradiated by white light.
