中文摘要sulfur compounds in oils are a major source of air pollutants with high environmental impact. with the environment regulation becoming more and more stringent, removal of sulfur compounds from oils has attracted a lot of attention.there are many technologies that can be used to remove thiols, sulfides and disulfides from oils, such as hydrodesulfurization, adsorption and bio-processes. however, conventional technologies have proven not to be efficient enough because of its rigorous operating conditions and high captical cost. recently the oxidation of sulfur compounds combined with a subseqent extractive desulfurization process has received wide attention, which is considered to be one of the most promising among various processes. organic sulfides can be oxidized selectively to sulfoxides and sulfones, and they can be removed by polar extractants, thus an oil with ultralow sulfur contents can be achieved. however, traditional extractants are usually flammable and volatile organic compounds, which led to severe environmental and safety concerns. room temperature ionic liquids (rtils) have attracted much attention in different areas of chemistry due to its novel chemical and physical properties such as nonvolatitility, thermally stability, broad liquids range, nonflammability and wide electrochemical window.[1, 2] in recent years, there are many reports on the desulfurization of oils by chemical oxidation combined with extraction.[3] however, as for the electrochemical oxidation combined with extraction desulfurization process, there is still no report on this area. in this study, desulfurization of oils in ionic liquids will be investigated by electrochemical oxidation combined with extraction process (fig.1). the experiments will be divided into two steps. the first step is to set up the electrochemical oxidation and extraction systems. then the second step will focus on the selection of cationic and anionic structures to enhance extraction efficiency. effects of its process parameters will be studied in details such as extraction time, ratio of extraction phase (il phase : oil phase), ph of extraction systems, concentration of extracted phase, voltage of power supply, distance between electrodes, etc. fig.1 experimental setup of electrochemical oxidation combined with extraction
