Diarylheptanoids from the root of Curcuma aromatica and their antioxidative effects

英文摘要Four rare diarylheptanoids containing tetrahydropyran moieties (1-4) and five known diarylheptanoids (6-10) were isolated from the n-BuOH fraction of 75% ethanol extract from the root of Curcuma aromatica, along with a new phenol (5). Their planar and stereochemical structures were established using HRESIMS and spectroscopic methods, including ECD data. All compounds (1-10) exhibited antioxidant effects on the model of H2O2-induced damage in PC12 cell at their dosages of 10 mu M, while compounds 1, 3, 6, 7, 9 and 10 produced that effects at 1 mu M (P < 0.001).
