英文摘要Because of Small towns' special status and role in the country's development and construction as well as the seriousness of the destruction of geological disasters to the cities, geological hazard assessment of small cities plays an important practical significance and theoretical significance part in towns' construction and sustainable development. Based on detailed field survey and study indoors, this paper determines the main influencing factors of the disaster hazard assessment and the index system, and adopts the method of Extension Analytical Hierarchy Process(EAHP) to carry out geological hazard appraisal to the Agan town in Gansu province. This method avoid the disadvantage that the traditional AHP is too computationally intensive and not considering the fuzzy boundary of human thinking when determining the judgment matrix and so on, so the evaluation results are more closer to the actual situation and can provide scientific basis for the small towns' construction and development. ©2009 IEEE.
