英文摘要	清水纯(JUN shimizu),日本大学经济学部教授。; 【中文摘要】根据荷兰文献及口述资料考察17—18世纪哆啰美远人的历史,发现台湾东海岸的各个族群之间有着千丝万缕的关系。各族群同属南岛语族的文化系统,且互动关系密切,但是各族群之间也存在着巨大的文化差异。哆啰美远人与周边族群的关系包括:与拥有相同语言系统的巴塞人的贸易关系,与宜兰平原的哆啰美远社同族人的关系,与被总称为Takilis的Pabanangh人和Dadangh人的关系,与被称为Parrougearon人的山地住民的关系,以及同Mek-qaulin 及太鲁阁人的关系。这些族群关系体现了从17世纪末到18 世纪中叶,各族群之间围绕社会生活领域所展开的争夺历史,以及汉人开拓移民剧增等因素引起的原住民社会经济生活的变化。 【Abstract】Based on Dutch literature and oral recounts, this paper studies the history of Torobiawans and ascertains the complex interrelationships among the various groups of inhabitants on the east coast of Taiwan. Despite the fact that these ethnical groups belong to the same Austronesian family, their cultures vary widely. The interrelationships between Torobiawans and other groups take various forms, including trading ties with Basay (sharing the same language system), the relationship with Torobiawans in Yilan Plain, the relationship among Takilis, Pabanangh, Dadangh and Torobiawans, the relationship with Parrougearon (hillbilly), the relationship among Mek-qaulin, Taroko and Torobiawans. By exploring the eth nical interrelationships from the late 17 th century to the mid-18 th century, this paper reveals the struggle of indigenous people for survival as well as their socio-economic changes resulting from the influx of Chinese emigrants.
