英文摘要	作为一个学术观点的“养生即养神“说,认为“神“即精神,而精神具有主宰性和不朽性,养生即求得不朽的精神生命,这种观点预设了身心二元论。在《养生主》中,共有三个“神“字,都不是作为主宰者和不朽者的精神。庖丁解牛寓言的两个“神“字,都是身体作用或身体经验。泽雉寓言的“神“字,或者是“形“,或者不能理解为“精神“。《养生主》篇末“薪尽火传“,也不是精神不朽的比喻。养生的“生“,指生命,而生命不能等同于精神或心灵。养生的“养“,则有两个层次:一是自然层面,侧重于处理生死问题,表现为保全生命;一是社会层面,侧重于处理人我问题,表现为保养生命。处世也是庄子“养生“的题中应有之义。; As an academic viewpoint, the belief in the equivalence between the nourishing of life and the nourishing of shen holds that"shen"is equivalent to spirit, a thing that is both dominating and everlasting, and that to nourish life is to achieve eternity in spirit.This belief presupposes the dualism between body and mind.In Nourishing the Lord of Life,the word"shen"has been used for three times, and none of them is to denote a spirit that is dominating or immortal.The word"shen"has been used twice in the allegory of Cook Ding's cutting up an ox, and both are to show the function or the experience of human body.The word"shen"in the allegory of a pheasant of the marshes means shape but not spirit.To the end of Nourishing the Lord of Life, there is the belief that even the firewood is burned, the fire is to pass on.However, this belief is not a metaphor for the immortality of spirit.The word"sheng"in the term"yangsheng"refers to life,a thing that is different from spirit or heart.The word"yang"may refer to two layers of things at the same time.From the perspective of nature, it refers more to the treatment of life and death, or, more exactly, to the maintenance of life;from the perspective of society, it refers more to the treatment of interpersonal relationship, or, more exactly, to the nourishing of life.What is more, the way to live in the world is also part of what should be covered in the term"yangsheng".; 中央高校基本科研业务费专项资金资助项目(20720140026)
