| 中文摘要 | 戴维森的核心成果之一是其真值条件语义理论,该理论通过给出句子的真值条件以解释其意义。因此,在这一理论中,戴维森的真之理论扮演着十分重要的地位。众所周知,戴维森的真之理论来源于塔尔斯基的真之定义。但在塔尔斯基的真之定义中,自然语言应排除在外,因为它会导致语义悖论;而且,塔尔斯基的真之定义不能直接被用来解释语言的意义,因为在给出真之定义的过程中,塔尔斯基已赋予解释优先地位。因此,戴维森必须对塔尔斯基的真之定义进行修改。但令人遗憾的是,修改后的真之理论实际上仍然不能满足其意义理论的要求。; One of Davidson's most significant achievements is his truth-theoretic semantics.This theory illustrates the meaning of sentences by giving their truth condition.Therefore,in this theory,Davidson's theory of truth will play a vital role.We all know that Davidson's theory of truth results from Tarski's definition of truth.However,in Tarski's definition,natural language should be excluded.Because the definition of truth in natural language will cause paradoxes.Moreover,Tarski's definition of truth cannot be used for explaining the meaning of sentences,for Tarski has endowed the priority role of translation and interpretation.Thus,Davidson has to modify Tarski's definition of truth.However,the modified version of theory of truth still cannot satisfy the requirements of his theory of meaning. |
