中文摘要	尽管世界主义已经成为当今国际学界的一个前沿理论话题,但它依然很少在中国的文学理论批评界得到深入的讨论。本文首先以世界主义在中国的实践作为参照,追溯其在中国和世界其他地方的源头,并且主要从文化和文学视角对这一颇多争议的概念作出新的建构。然后,文章以世界主义作为参照,讨论了中国现代文学的国际化进程。作者试图论证:从文学的角度来看,在现代中国讨论世界主义,其意义在于通过大量地将西方文学译成中文来达到向西方文学认同的目的。但是随着全球化时代的到来、中国经济的飞速发展以及莫言荣获诺贝尔文学奖,中国文学的国际化应该提到议事日程上了。因此就这一点而言,世界主义之于中国及其文学和文化便显示出新的意义。莫言的成功很大程度上在于,他恰到好处地把中国人所面临的一些基本问题放在一个广阔的世界语境下来探讨,而这也正是世人所共同关心的问题。; Although cosmopolitanism has been one of the cutting edge theoretical issues in current international academia,it is so far seldom discussed in Chinese literary and critical circles. This article first dates the origin of cosmopolitanism in comparison w ith its practice in China and the rest of the w orld and offers the author's new construction of this controversial concept chiefly from a literary and cultural perspective. Then it deals w ith the internationalizing process of modern Chinese literature w ith regard to cosmopolitanism. It argues that,from a literary point of view,in the past decades in China,to talk about cosmopolitanism w as nothing but to identify Chinese literature w ith Western literature by translating as much Western literature as possible into Chinese. But now w ith the advent of globalization,the rapid development of Chinese economy,and Mo Yan's Nobel Prize w inning in 2012,it is the right time to think of internationalizing Chinese literature. As such,cosmopolitanism has once again become significant to China,its literature and culture. The success of Mo Yan largely lies in his appropriate handling of the fundamental national problems in a broad cosmopolitan context w ith regard to human concerns at large.
