中文摘要Automatic link establishment (ALE) is one of the most important technologies in the third generation (3G) high frequency communications, with the handshake scheme being the key part. This paper presents the PEC (prior estimation of channel)-based handshake protocol based on an analysis of the 3G-ALE asynchronous handshake protocol's performance in asymmetric channels. Expressions are given for the link establishment probability and the link establishment mean time of the PEC-based protocol. Simulations show that the PEC-based handshake protocol has better link establishment performance in asymmetrically wretched channels than the 3G-ALE handshake protocol.
