中文摘要Traditional horizontal polarization waveguide double-slot omni-directional antenna arrays have various disadvantages, such as narrow bandwidth and high cost. This paper presents an omni-directional waveguide slot antenna based on substrate integrated waveguide technology that has two back-to-back mounted radiating waveguides fed by a stripline hidden between them. This improvement enables implementation of complex parallel feeding networks and can achieve wide bandwidths while keeping omni-directional radiation. Both the geometry and the fabrication of this antenna are shown. The pattern fluctuations in the horizontal plane is less than 2.5 dB, while the bandwidth of the -10 dB return loss is 12.5%. This sandwiched antenna can be used for both high gain and wide band stripline hidden between them. This improvement enables implementation of complex applications.
