中文摘要The ion-pair dissociation dynamics Of Cl-2 in the range 13.26-13.73 eV have been studied employing coherent extreme ultraviolet radiation (XUV) and the velocity map imaging method. The Cl-(S-1(0)) ion-pair yield spectrum has been measured, and 80 velocity map images of Cl-(S-1(0)) have been recorded for the strong peaks in the spectrum. From the images, two dissociation channels corresponding to Cl-('So) + Cl+(P-3(j)) and Cl-('So) + Cl+(D-1(2)) have been found. The branching ratios among the fragments Cl+(P-3(0.1)), Cl+(P-3(2)), and Cl+(D-1(2)) and their corresponding anisotropy parameters beta have been determined. It is concluded that the ion-pair dissociation occurs via the predissociation of Rydberg states and its dynamics strongly depend on the excitation energies. The perpendicular and parallel transitions correspond to the excitation to two major Rydberg series converging to ion-core Cl-2(+)(A(2)Pi(u)),...sigma(2)(g)pi(3)(u)pi(4)(g)[A(2)Pi(u)]ns sigma(g), (1)Pi(u) (n = 6,7), and...sigma(2)(g)pi(3)(u)pi(4)(g)[A(2)Pi(u)]nd pi(g), 1 Sigma(+)(u) (n = 4,5), respectively For the production of fragments Cl+(D-1(2)), it is proposed that the perpendicular transitions are from the excitation to Rydberg states [A(2)Pi(u)]ns sigma(g), (1)Pi(u) that is predissociated by ion-pair state 2,nu,while the parallel transitions are from the excitation to [A(2)Pi(u)]nd pi(g), (1)Sigma(+)(u) that interacts with ion-pair states O-u(+)(D-1(2)), O-u(+)(P-3(2)) and O-u(+)(P-3(0)).
